Starfish magnetic clasp with 3 loops for connection. Powerful rare earth magnets hold the clasp together. Lost wax cast in Albuquerque New Mexico in small quantities and hand finished. The clasp is 1 3/8 inches or 36 mm across so it is substantial in size.
This clasp works well with gemstone beads, pearls, seed bead work, kumihimo, peyote and chain maille.
For those that love the sea this is a perfect clasp/feature for your beautiful jewelry.
We had a similar clasp a few years ago - we re-engineered the connection. The lower magnet is larger in diameter than the upper magnet - the upper magnet sits inside the lower magnet to offer more secure connection.
These pieces are first designed by sketches and use of my computer design software and then a master is made and they are lost wax cast and hand finished.
