In the first picture you see glue which is used to seal the ends of the kumihimo braid in this case. The wire is cut into a length that allows for the connection at the clasp and necklace end. The wire is pulled through the braid where the beaded and non-beaded meet and bent in a 180 degree turn to secure it. The wire is pulled through the cone and then looped through the connectors. The same thing is done on the toggle side. If it is necessary to remove the clasp and cones cutting the wire is done. Neither the necklace or clasp is damaged this way.
